Bear Track and Birds
During cow chores this morning I was hearing a lot of game bird calls. That got me itching to go out and see what I could see. So went out scouting/shed hunting. The coolest thing I saw was a bear track about 4-5" in width. I also saw a ton of other tracks in the mud that I thought were coyote. It was a good day for tracks because of all the mud in spring.

Way to go Matthew. The Red-wing blackbird scouts showed up on Monday. Spring is here. There are 4 Mallard drakes in the front puddle,no hens. The grey fox is out every day now. I think I saw a male fox yesterday evening. No bears!
